From Marine Biologist to One of Mexico's Most Trusted Wedding Planners
Growing up as the daughter of diplomats, Lucy was immersed in the world of gatherings from an early age — witnessing first-hand the power of bringing people together with purpose and intention. That foundation shaped everything that followed.
After university, Lucy pursued her passion for coral reef conservation, which brought her to Mexico. She spent a decade as a marine biologist on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, working across Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico — developing a profound connection to the region, its culture, and its people.
The transition into event planning came unexpectedly. Asked to help organise a neighbour's wedding, the event was such a success that referrals followed naturally. What began as a favour became a calling.
Now, with over 300 weddings and 25 years of living and working in the Mexican Caribbean, Lucy brings unmatched regional knowledge, deeply trusted vendor relationships, and a refined design sensibility to every celebration. As a native English speaker, she bridges cultural nuances with ease — ensuring every detail is understood, intentional, and perfectly aligned with her clients' vision.
